From the menu: Edit → Advanced Search, or by the Advanced Search{{en:documentation:i76.png|}} icon. This facility is available from the main bar (the icon) or from the menu bar by clicking Edit → Advanced Search.

Select the appropriate object type by clicking one of the radio buttons, then enter its ID in the bottom entry area.

Some buttons can help you to enter the Catalog id and Object id at the right hand side of this area.

When the object is found, the chart will be shifted so to display the object in the centre.
