Update Menu
This menu let you keep current some data that require to be regularly updated. You must be connected to the Internet before to use this functions.
Search for software update
Check if a new version of the Skychart software is available and propose to download.
This check only for a new stable version, except if you are already running a beta version.
Comet elements
Update the comet elements using your current setting.
This open the same dialog as Setup → Solar system → Comet but do not touch any button as all is automated here!
Asteroid elements
Update the asteroid elements using your current setting.
This open the same dialog as Setup → Solar system → Asteroid but do not touch any button as all is automated here!
Artificial satellites
Open both the https://www.space-track.org web page in your internet browser, and the location where you need to download the TLE files with .tle extension in your file explorer.
This is the same function as the Download TLE button of the artificial satellites page of the Calendar.
