Software translation
You can also translate the program itself to your language.
Look to ciel/data/language directory, all the text to translate are in the skychart.po files.
First add a line to skychart.lang like this one:
xx MyLanguage
Where xx is the ISO 639.1 code for your language.
Then copy the file skychart.en.po to skychart.xx.po
The big part is to translate all the text to the msgstr line. Never touch the English text in the msgid line.
There is specific software to help for this work, I personally use Kbabel, but most are for Linux only.
For Windows the best is probably poedit: http://www.poedit.org/
Beware to never use notepad or wordpad to edit the file because the encoding must remain UTF-8. poedit work fine with that.
You can test your new file in CdC by changing the language from your language to English and back, this way there is no need to restart the program to see the change.
Then send me your file when you finish, I will make it available to other at the next snapshot or release.
With each snapshot release that contain new or updated text I place an updated skychart.xx.po with the new untranslated text (this is produced by the compiler).
With poedit it is easy to go to each of this new text to add the translation.
